Whether you need an accompanist for a grade 3 vocal exam, or a gala performance of a Tchaikovsky Concerto, you can trust Heather to provide sensitive, professional musical accompaniment.  Soloists return to her year after year.  A quick study and gifted sight reader, Heather is well-versed and experienced in all Classical music styles, from Bach to Saint-Saens, from Mozart to Weber.

Master of Music in Piano Performance, University of Victoria (1999)

Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, Acadia University (1995)

Member of the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Associations through various provincial chapters since 1995.

 

BOOKING

  • Please give at least 2 weeks notice of a performance; at least 3 weeks is appreciated, especially for advanced works.
  • Later bookings may be accepted, depending on scheduling and the piece(s) to be performed.  Rush Fees will apply (see Fees).
  • Please, no photocopies for performances.  It is against the law.  You must provide me with an original score to play from unless permission has been granted from the publisher.  You may provide me with photocopies for initial rehearsals.  Please do not staple, tape, or otherwise arrange photocopied sheets.
  • To book Heather as your accompanist, contact her by telephone or email.

 

 

 

FEES
  • Rush Fees will apply whenever less than 2 weeks notice is given before a performance.
  • Rehearsal time is included in fees; additional rehearsal time may be purchased if required.
  • No-shows for scheduled rehearsal times will be subject to a $10 fee.
  • Cancellations: If notice of cancellation is received more than 2 weeks before the performance, only rehearsal times will be charged.  Rate will be calculated at $20/half hour.  If cancellation occurs after this time, the full fee will be charged. 
  • Payment is due by the date of the performance.  Late payments will be subject to a $10 late fee.
  • Please make cheques payable to Heather Dunham.
